If this doesn’t make you laugh I don’t know what will.
When I found this pic again I was laughing so much I almost peed my pants.

Here I am 20 years ago. Can you believe that I thought I was fat then? Ridiculous! You can so tell it was 1985! Flock of Seaguls hair!
My face looked 12, trying to look 15, but yes I am 15!

My friend Eynne is next to me!

Ahhhhhh good times!

Me in San Francisco

This is one of my favorite pictures!

Joe and I visited San Francisco in 2000.

The shirt that I was wearing was one of my favorites. It has seen San Francisco, and it was the shirt I was wearing the day of my heart attack.
I have retired it since, but still have it.

I urge everyone out there to visit the Dr. this year and have a physical.
It is so Important!

I can’t wait to get back to San Fran!
I love it there!

Glasses and a Hat

I normally don’t wear glasses when I wear hats. The hat makes my glasses kill at the temples.
But I guess this day I decided to.

My 3 obsessions…
Hats – fun and funky, love the styles that look like they are from the 20′s.

Eyeglasses – unique pieces. ANd being an Optician, how can I not?

Shoes – Need I say more? What gal does not love a vast shoe collection?

Back at the gym

today. The guy at the gym looked at Joe and I this morning like he hasn’t seen us for years!
Months maybe, but definitely not years!

Strength training day today.

Joe and I are going to be going to the gym 3 mornings a week for strength training and going to use the treadmill at home for cardio.

It used to be so hard going to the gym, because we would have to be there for over 2 hours. We would work cardio for 45 minutes then strength training. And I could never get all of the strength training in that I needed to. Because we wouldn’t get to the gym till after 530 somedays….
Ugh…

Now the routine is better and that is all that matters right?

Frustrated…

but also happy. I lost a half of a pound this week. I am a bit frustrated though, because I was working out and really watching what I ate. I thought that I would at least have lost a pound. A half a pound is better then a gain and that is what I have to keep telling myself.

I went through early menopause at 28 so that has to have something to do with it.
From going through menopause and having my heart problems you would think that I was 75 years old!
Hee hee! At least I can joke about it.

I am going to have a physical this month and talk to my Dr about going on hormone replacement. The physician assistant that I saw a month ago said that she is surprised no one put me on it before.
She said that I should have been put on estrogen replacement because of how young I was.

If I go on estrogen and drop weight quick…. well I will kick myself for not going on it sooner.

I am focusing on now. And what I need to do to be healthy today.

That is what is important and what I should be focusing on, not the past.

A day at a time.

Great weight loss tips…

sleep is important

shoes…

Monthly goal

Trying to get in 6 days on the treadmill a week. Tonight it kicked my butt! I know that I have to work my way up to fitness, but when it was as hard it was to get through the workout tonight…
well I wonder if I am ever going to get in better shape then i am now.
One day at a time. That is all what I need to focus on.
