We came across some native american sculptures on the wall near the aqarium.

The one sculpture was about life. Strength for life. It made me smile. I am happy to still be here celebrating life.

My 36th year is going to be the best yet!

Buddies! Calvin and Audrey get along so well together!
Calvin doesn’t know that she is a cat. He is too funny, he cries when she chases after him! But he will chase Biscuit the next door cat all over the yard!

I am surprised that I am loving pilates as much as I am. I have been working out with the treadmill and pilates the last couple weeks and I can already see some results! Pilates is really starting to mold my body!
Haven’t checked the scale.(and won’t till the day of my physical) But I notice my waist is a bit thinner and my thighs are looking better!

Not only that Pilates is very relaxing! I recommend it to anyone that has not tried it!

Just had some dark chocolate as a snack. Normally I would feel guilty for indulging, however dark chocolate is good for the heart.

This month is heart health awareness month. The American Heart Association website gives lots of tips for being heart healthy.

I know I am glad that I can indulge now and then in dark chocolate and it is good for me!

This weekend I did well with my workout. Worked on the treadmill yesterday and even jogged a bit. Today I did pilates. I am just trying to get something in 4 to 5 days a week. The last couple of weeks it didn’t happen. But going to do my best from this day forward.

Kris Young has started her own blog. She has recently moved to Canada. Her partner Melissa is from there.
Melissa lived with Kris here in the states for years.

Kris and I met in chorus. She or was it I had a Heart concert shirt on and we started chatting and the rest is history.
She is a wonderful artist!

We don’t see as much as each other as we did in the past, but she is always in my thoughts!

I went to my stylist Lyric today to have my hair trimmed. She asked me if I would like her to straighten it for a change. I said ok. It took her and her assistant about 30 minutes to straighten my hair. I really like how it looks, but would not have the time to do it on my own. That and I really like my curly hair. I can not believe how long it is straighted!

Lyric said that once I wash it and style it curly it will be alot shorter. More stacked in the back.

I was wondering if I should have had her cut bangs for my bob. Decided not.

I just wish that I would have seen her before I cut all my hair off. I wonder what my long hair would have looked like straightened!
