Now you think that by the heading of this blog that I would be talking about fitting into skinny jeans.

This is a bit different.

Apparently the “skinny jean” has made a comeback. Out with the bootcut, flare jeans that look the best on me….

That being said the only skinny jean that looks good is on skinny legs. Like my nieces. They are all naturally thin and the “skinny jean” will look fabulous on all 3 of them!
Never thought that I would say this, but whether in or out I am sticking to the boot cut and flare!

Tonight we saw Dar Williams play at this theatre.

It is a converted church in Center City Charlotte. Wonderful venue!

I am sure that Joe and I will be back to see s musical or a theatre production in the future!

need to change the blog site. I started it as a health and weight loss blog. But it has turned into a blog about my everyday life. I need to get rid of less on the hips in 2006. It is cute…. but there is more to life then weight loss. I am striving for overall health and wellness. Looking at the site it looks like I am just caught up with my weight all the time. And that is the furthest thing from the truth.

I do want to lose weight to be healthier. But I also need to focus on not gaining any weight.

It has been hard the last couple months with the move, the packing… staying on a regular exercise routine has been null.

At least I am eating healthy!

Unpacking, unpacking, unpacking…. organizing, organizing, organizing….or trying to organize anyway.

I just want it to be done.  We had so many boxes!  And it isn’t like it is taking up so much space in the different rooms.  It is more that we got in so late for the move that all the boxes were put in one pile in the living room instead of in the rooms they should have been in.  I totally understand though.  It was late and everyone wanted to just be done with it.

But it is just making my life harder right now.  I am cranky!!!!!!!!!!

I am running the teleclass business at the same time.  Luckily we are not that busy this week, but when I get on a role I have to stop….

I know one thing for sure though.  Everything is going to be in the room that it needs to be in before our vacation on the 9th of July.  Pictures don’t have to be up or anything, but everything has to be out of piles and in rooms!

This is a picture of me this morning. I have not combed my hair, washed my face or anything.
Thought I would be daring! I don’t think I would have considered it before.

Now I can say I took a picture of myself right out of bed. How many women would do that?

I must say my hair looks pretty good for just getting up in the morning.
That is wonderful thing of having curly hair. That and the fact that bed head is in fashion now!

When Joe and I were in San Fransico in 2000 we were on Haight/Ashbury and saw a map of singers from back in the 60s.
I saw the number for Janis Joplins house and had to go find it!

Joe and I went on the hunt. It is the brown house. It was fun being in that neighborhood. The houses are so beautiful!

When we were on Haight Street I had someone ask me for directions. He thought I was from around there!

While I was in San Francisco I had such a calm feeling. Like I belonged there. Too bad it is so expensive!

We had a wonderful time there and hope to visit again in the next couple years!

Even though we have not been away for that long it seems so long ago.

I LOVED this car! It drove very well, never had a problem with it.

I adored the color!

Last night I finally got the well deserved sleep that I have been lacking for almost 2 weeks.

Since before the more I have been functioning on 4 to 5 hours of sleep. I would usually catch a 1 to 2 hour nap during the day. My sleep schedule was messed up!

Yesterday I decided that no matter how tired I was, I WAS NOT going to take a nap.

When we went to dinner I had 2 Woodchuck ciders. That did help with the sleep. When we got home I went straight to bed. That was at 8:30!

I am happy to say that I am back to being well rested!

We all need our beauty sleep. I know that I need mine!

Last night Joe and I walked to Hawthornes for dinner. It is a wonderful resturant! They are famous for their gourmet pizzas.

I had 2 woodchuck ciders and was tipsy! Back in the day 2 would just be the start!

We had pinwheels for appetizers. Sort of like stombolis. Joe had penne pasta with sweet sausage in a blush sauce. I had the cheese ravioli. Yum!
We brought most of it home.

It was raining out. Only a light shower. When we left the house for dinner it had subsided for a bit. There was no way getting around it when we left the Hawthornes. Although we did leave after it let up a bit. Joe and i still have the umbrellas packed. But even with the rain it was so nice being able to walk 2 blocks to dinner and walk home.

If the problems with my old trainers weren’t enough. Now I am having problems with Body Plex Fitness Complex.

Joe went in and cancelled our accounts and my personal training sessions that were being billed automatically.
Joe was there when Chris (the owner) took it out of of the system.

I went to look at my checking account online today and much to my dismay found that the Body Plex charged me the monthly fee. It is in pending, but will show up on my account! Luckily I have overdraft protection, but that is not the point.

I was nice enough to say that they didn’t have to worry about reimbursing me for the May sessions that I did not use. However this is a whole other story.

The Bank of America rep said that since it is in pending I have to wait till it posts to my account and then I can call and ask for a charge back dispute. I will have to fill out all this paperwork for a charge back.

It is so frustrating! And I am mad! Mad thinking that they were nice people who owned that complex and now knowing that they are just after a quick buck like the rest.
Or at least that is the way I am feeling right now.

If this does not get settled I am going to file a complaint to the Better Business Burea.
