are slowly dwindling! I haven’t been able to get alot done the past couple days.

I have been functioning on lack of sleep and had to take a nap today. I am up now and just unpacked 6 boxes. Finding my hat boxes and home decor.

Yesterday Joe and I drove all over. Trying to get familiar with the main roads.
Then last night we went to the Visualite Theatre and saw Rhett Miller! He put on a jammin show!
He was with his band The Believers. It was his first time in Charlotte.

The Visualite is a wonderful theatre! It is so close that Joe and I walked there. Now we won’t be walking there in the winter, but it was wonderful!

Some guy came walking fast behind us. It sort of creeped me out. He asked Joe for the time.
I guess it creeped me out because Joe and I were the only ones walking. Everyone else was driving.

We also walked to Starbucks yesterday. I love that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going to take pics of the neighborhood the next couple weeks to show how beautiful this neighborhook is!

Today was Joes first day at the office. There are 4 other people working there. Jason and his assistant wear shirt and ties. Since Jason runs the one part of his company and he meets with clients all the time he started wearing suits. Joe is running the writing part of the business it will be fine wearing polos and khakis. He even said that he wasn’t going to be wearing shirts and ties everyday just to work on writing. Joe is also working on his own business things too!
He will wear a shirt and tie when he has to meet clients a few days a month though.

Joe likes going into the office. I like having the place to myself. Just me and the furries!

to Charlotte! This pic is the reason that Joe and I are going to pay movers to pack and unpack on our next move.

However that won’t be for a long time. We really love it here. Our next move will be where we figure out where we want to plant our roots. Yes the next move will be when we buy a house.

That is a while away and we know we are going to love our new place in Charlotte!

This place is SOUND PROOF!
Our downstairs neighbor Lane was blaring his music and the only way we knew it is we went out last night and heard it in the hallway.
He lives under us…. that means he doesn’t hear us as well! Also our neighbors across the was were watching a movie loud and couldn’t hear it either! Our neighbors are really nice. I have only met Joe and Lane. They both live in the downstairs units. Joe met our neighbor on the top floor Andy, but not his wife. They moved here 2 weeks ago. Lane and Joe have small front porches and the door leads into their place. We have the wonderful arch windows. We (as well as the neighbors across the hall) have the added security of having an outside door… then you walk upstairs and have to go through the door to our place.

Good move!

After Joe and I took Audrey to the vet we stopped by the gym. Joe had to cancel our membership since we are moving. He also had to make sure that they stopped making the withdrawls for my training sessions.

Joe explained what happened with Devin and how after she left I saw Michelle for a week, then was at Eddies wedding, then Michelle was on vacation. Chris the owner said. “Wait Devin left?”
So Joe again explained about how Devin told me that she was leaving for another full time job.

Apparently that fell through and Devin never told me. Not only that when I came back from the wedding and after Michelle was back from vacation no one ever called me!

I am so pissed off at young trainers. I have had bad luck with trainers and I don’t think that I am going to be hiring one again.
If you have a job to help get someone fit shouldn’t you call your clients to let them know what is going on?
Not only that… Devin was going to write me up a program that I was going to use with the exercise ball. (balance ball) I asked her about it 3 times and I even called her. She NEVER emailed it to me.

I don’t know if these trainers are young or if it is that they are working for someone else so they don’t care.

Joe and I are thinking of joining the YMCA in Charlotte. If we do I am just going to take some different classes that have different instructors. They can make sure I am doing the exercises correctly, and I don’t have to shell out money to trainers that don’t care.

It just boggles my mind. What do they think that we just want to waist our money? I don’t think that they should even get in the business if they are not interested in helping people.

I just can’t believe it!

The good side to it is that Chris didn’t give us any problems about it. I would have put up a stink if he did. He apologized up and down about it. At least we know that he cares about his clients. Now if he would only hire people that care as much as he does.

Went to get her shots today. She was very vocal the whole car ride there!

She was very good for Mel (our vet) through the whole exam, shots included.

I asked Mel about making her an indoor cat. He said that since we were moving and it is a totally new surroundings it will be better for her. However the first couple weeks may be a little rough.

bought me this cd for my High School Graduation. It is the first cd I have ever owned. I think of her every time I look at it and play it.

CD players first came out in 1986, but started selling more in 1987, 1988.

1988 is when they became more affrodable. That is the year that I graduated. I CANNOT BELIEVE IT IS ALMOST 20 YEARS!!!!

I definitely do not feel it.

Moving… what can I say about it?

It is good because you can go through your things and see what you really need.

However…. doing so can drive you insane!!!!!!!!!!! That is what I am feeling right now.

I gave away SO MANY things to the salvation army and I am still going through things. I had so many work clothes that I haven’t worn in so long…. ditched those.

Then there were the clothes that held memories….ended up keeping 2 pieces, got rid of the rest.

Why is it so hard to give things away? I had some things in smaller sizes and thought…. when I get back doown to this size will I even want to wear this?

I have so much storage here in Athens. Moving to a place that was built in the 1930s. Needless to say it is not going to be that spacious.
That is good though. It will keep me from purchasing things.

Definitely needed to simplify my life and this move is just the thing to do it!
