Jessie has 2 cats Thursday (in this pic) and Jude. Jude is a beautiful white male cat and when he saw Calvin he hid out in Jessies room for the whole time we were visiting.

Calvin tried to make friends with Thursday. Thursday would only let him get so far. At one point he got close enough and wanted to give him a snuggle and Thursday swiped his nose!

After that they would get sort of close to each other and Calvin would start growling!

The funny thing is that Thursday followed Calvin around the whole visit! He just didn’t want him getting too close!

On Thursday Jessie and I went to the mall so she could make at a return at American Eagle.

When we walked in I was surprised! There was a huge picture on the wall of a handsome model in front of the Georgia Theatre in Athens Georgia!

Back when we lived in Athens and I worked Downtown I used to walk by Georgia Theatre EVERYDAY!

I picked up a pamphet to see if there were any other places that I recognized. They took some pics around campus and at The Grit!
Oh how I miss The Grit!

Joe and I lived in Athens for 3 years. Even though we LOVE Charlotte we still miss Athens!

Tomorrow Calvin and I are taking a road trip to Lake Helen Florida to visit Jessie.

Haven’t seen her since Thanksgiving so it will be great to hang for a few days. She has been wanting me to come to visit for a LONG time. However the days always pass so quickly…

Since Joe is going to be away on a business trip it is the perfect time to go and have a girlie getaway! It is also perfect because I don’t start my optical job full time till the end of September.

The trip is going to take about 7 and a half hours. Joe is taking a cab to the airport. It will pick him up at 5 am so that is when Calvin my fuzzy buddy and I are going to leave.

Jessies son Paul can’t wait to see Calvin again!

Going to leave Audrey here alone. Bought her this water cooler dish last week. She and Calvin drink from it though. Which is a definite plus and it saves having one more dish on the floor. I am also going to put enough food down for a few days.
Hopefully she will not wreck the place.

I will be taking many pictures on the trip and will blog then when I return on Saturday.

Loving that I have Sirius Satelite radio. I am going to be rockin out the way there and back!

I was ironing my pants this morning and using the steam feature on the iron.

The amount of steam it let out was OUT OF CONTROL!  It was like I was getting a facial while ironing!  Hey if it makes my skin look better….

I love our Scion that we just purchased in June. However the one downfall is the car mirror! It is the smallest damn car mirror I ever saw!

I feel like I am in the lap of luxury when I drive the Jetta! That has a nice lit car mirror!

It is just ridiculous how small the car mirror is!

My friend Kristi put up a bulletin on Myspace. I clicked on it and it let to PBS site. On the page you put your surname in and it shows you where your name ranks in America.

My married name Taylor is Number 12! Don’t feel as original now. Hee hee!

My maiden name Johns ranked 625. Now I feel better. I wouldn’t have thought that it would be that high up there. Growing up I didn’t know anyone else by the name of Johns. Well that isn’t 100 percent true. I knew there was a family around Collegeville named Johns that I didn’t know.

I also put in my Moms maiden name Witte. That ranked 3,575! Now that is an original name!
