Took Calvin to the groomers this morning…. this is one of his BEFORE pics….

How cute is he? Hee hee! My smiley guy!

Joe is going away on a business trip next week so I decided to visit my dear friend Jessie!

I am going to bring Calvin along for the ride!  My friend Christie is going to watch Audrey while we are gone, but just to be safe going to buy an automatic water and food bowl for her.

Audrey will tear things up if she gets too hungry and there isn’t any food around!

Going to leave EARLY Wednesday morning and will be drving back Saturday morning.

Calvin is going to love it!  And it will be nice to hang with Jessie.  I haven’t visited her in Lake Helen Florida yet.  It will be a nice girlie getaway!

Happy Birthday to our niece Kristy! She turns 13 today, an official teenager!

You have always been laid back Kristy. Ever since you were a baby! We also love that you do what you want and don’t follow anyone. You are cool like that!

And since hangin with you at the shore Joe and I are going around spurting your token saying, “Sweet!”

I really need more storage around here. I have given away SO MANY THINGS! And I still need storage. I am going to buy a book shelf from Ikea in the next few weeks. That is going to help. And also going to buy dvd storage unit. That will help too.

Why to I feel that this place is so unfinished?  It looks great! I even put the new pillows on the couch and the chair even though I haven’t had them cleaned yet. It brightens the place up.

The only thing that I do not like about this place is where the cable comes in. The cable man that initially installed the cable was lazy and fed it through the dining area instead of the living room. So we had to tape down all this cable line or it would have looked hidious! I am still not thrilled with how we had to tape it around the front of the fire place. I can get a rug to cover it I guess. If that is the only thing that I have a problem with here then I guess we are pretty lucky. It is also probably hard to put cable in an old building.

But storage… ah in a couple months hoping to have it all taken car of.

I thought that I was going to take a ton of pics and alot of video while we were on vacation but I didn’t. I am always taking so many pictures. Guess i though that I would give myself a break. I took this one with my camera phone. Turned out well! I am loving my camera phone! I have used that more than my regular camera lately.

Yesterday was my first day at my new job.  I was only there for a few hours, but I guess I can consider it my first day.

I am going to be working for Dr. Genia Beasley.  She is an Optometrist who specializes in Vision Therapy.  Most of her practice is kids.  Eventually she is going to hire another Primary Care Optometrist and we will have more people for eye exams.  She is opening a brand new practice at the end of September.  It is being built now.  For the past couple of years she has shared space with Dr. Carpenter.  The office was too small for her growing practice so she decided to go into business for herself.  The new practice is going to be gorgeous!  I will definitely take pics and blog them once I start.
Yesterday I went in and saw frame reps .  I looked at eyewear with the consultant Rick and with Wendy the office manager.

I didn’t think I was going to get paid for coming in, but Wendy said that I will!  That is good news!

Pickiing out eyewear is fun for me!  I guess I thought that I was not going to get paid till the practice officially opened.  I am glad that I was wrong on that part.

It is so EXCITING to be part of a new practice that is just opening.  It is going to open up alot of opportunities for me!

This is the start of a new look for my blog.  I love green and this fits well

Joe is going to help me with it this weekend.  I want to get my daisyclub logo back up.

When I had my jewelry store online we had someone design a logo for it.  I am keeping it.  Eventually I am going to make some jewelry and sell it online as well.  I will use the logo again for that.

I LOVED the other blog design…. but it was mainly for weight loss and health which i thought I was ONLY going to use the blog for.  It turned out to be more of a personal blog.  I will keep my health and things updated.  But it needed a new look….
