Here is a pic of my new hair!

I just had the shock of my life today.  I went to the salon to have my hair cut and colored and it was EXPENSIVE!  More than I paid ANYWHERE!

I guess that is the price you have to pay for staying pretty!

A couple weeks ago Joe and I watched a documentary on PBS about shelters in America.The documentary was Best Friend Forgotten. They showed a cute cat named Oreo. It went over her life in the shelter. At the end of the documentary it showed her after she was put to sleep.

They said that alot of the dogs that are given away are full bred. When they were showing the dogs this pup came up. A Calvin look alike. Although Calvin was a bit more furry when we adopted him.

We adopted Calvin from a shelter 6 years ago. I don’t think that we will ever get a puppy. Especially after watching the documentary. I was CRYING at the end of it.

I wish that alot more people out there would go to the shelters to adopt their pets. There are SO many out there that need good homes!

where Calvin chased the birds. He went down the enbankment and would not listen to me when I was calling for him.

I went back in the house and counted to ten. He was back when I came out the door.

There is a gator in that lake. I was afraid that I would have to call Joe and tell him that the gator had a tasty snack when we were visiting. That tasty snack would have been Calvin

Luckily he was smart and ran back to the house when he didn’t see me.

This is a pic of Amy and Milena. Amy is newly married to Gary who is the manager of the store. They met on the company cruise! They have a get together every year for the managers and they met and fell in love!
She is really sweet! I am really happy for the both of them.

Milena is on the right. She is the sweetest woman around! Her hubby is really nice too! So are her kids!

This is a pic that was taken when I was visiting Jessie. We were in Winter Park and visited Milena who I worked with when we lived there. It has been over 3 years since we lived in Florida! How the time does fly!

Don’t we look cute? 

I don’t think that either of us look our age.  Jessie and I were both talking about that when we went out that Friday night.  She hasn’t aged a day since I met her!

She is very sweet!  A great friend!
