Today we are celebrating at home in Charlotte. Lita has come from Florida to visit this Thanksgiving. She said that it has been years since she has celebrated a traditional Thanksgiving. She will be in the Netherlands next year. I hope that this is a very memorable last Thanksgiving for her.

Joe and I ordered everything in from Reids fine foods. I am a good cook, but didn’t want to attempt it this time around. Especially since it was just the 3 of us.

There is alot to be thankful for today. I am thankful for Joe, family, and friends. I am also happy that I am living and healthy!!!!!!!!!!!

This time 2 years ago I was at Eves house with family for Thanksgiving and I was VERY tired! I did not feel well and thought that I was sick. One month later I was having heart surgery.

These past 2 years have been a blessing for me. When things go wrong or I am having a bad day I try to settle down and look back on all I went through.

Today more than ever I am truly thankful for everything. Everything that I have experienced in life. The good and the bad. I am so lucky to still be alive! I will always be thankful that God let me live.

Thanksgiving will always be different for me now. It has so much more meaning. I am glad that I will be around for many more.
