That fool would be me! My check from last week finally cleared my account and I went shopping. I shopped like never before. I think it was all those pent up months without being able to.

The thing is that alot of the purchases were smaller purchases that added up. I have a huge bill that I paid…

It was for a gym membership for Joe and I. We joined Peak Fitness. It is about 6 minutes from our place, towards Downtown Charlotte. It was alot with the sign up fee and first month fee. However it was truly worth it. You can’t really put a price on health. I know that too well!

Now I can keep my heart healthy as can be while building my muscle tone back up.

Last week I said to Joe “My muscles have gone away! I miss them!” He said that he misses his too! I also do!

We are starting back tomorrow morning. Hooray for Health!

Today driving home from work I was in the left turn lane. There were two left hand turn lanes and I was the furthest to the right. Well I was the last to make the turn and the bus was right in front and a car behind that. I looked in my mirrors and went to get into the other lane. A van from out of no where ends up screeching his brakes and shifting to the side. He was in the lane i was turning in. However he was not there when I looked in my mirrors and signaled to get in the other lane. My heart jumped in my throat and I became a bit shaky. I went in the other lane and slowed down to see if the guy was going to try to get me to pull over. He did not hit me. Well he went and passed me. So I KNOW i was not in the wrong. If I was I would have seen a finger flashing out of the van. People around here sometimes dry CRAZY! I am thinking he must have went through the red light…. that is the only explanation.

Then a couple days ago I was behind a couple cars. We were at the red and the light turned green. It was green for a couple seconds. The cars began to go and all of the sudden from the opposite direction 2 cars just drive right through the red lights. It wasn’t even like our light just turned green. I could have counted to five slow and that is as much time. I don’t know where people think they are. I know that North Carolina is big with racing. But some people think that they can avoid all traffic signs and lights.

All I know is I follow the rules and I almost got hit a couple times already. I just wish a cop would have been around when all of these things were happening.

I got home and settled down… whew!

I called Lita tonight and we were on the phone for 3 hours. She is coming to visit around Thanksgiving. Her train arrives Wed night and she is staying till either Saturday or Sunday night. I forget. We were gabbing and I didn’t even know what time it was.

Going to miss her when she moves to England. I am glad she is visiting and I am going to try to plan a quick jaunt to see her in the spring before she moves.

We were both looking at the Tiffany website and I said a line from Breakfast at Tiffanys. She tells me she has never seen it. I am shocked! So I told her that is one thing that we are going to do when we are hanging together.

We are also going to get facials and get fitted for bras! Joe is so glad that I am going to have some girly time! I am too!

Not feeling so great. I am trying to fight off a cold or a fever. Not sure which. There were a ton of kids that were in last week that were sick, so that may have been it.

I have a short day today. I work 2-7. I think that i can tough it out. I slept in later today since I am not feeling so great. Hopefully that will help.

This weekend Joe and I watched Grey Gardens. What a STRANGE and interesting documentary.
