Glitter has come along way over the years.
In grade school I used it in art projects. Years later it was added to everything from lotion to eyeshadow. I have even seen it in eyeliner.
Yesterday I saw a whole other different way glitter is being used. At first I thought “What? Could this be true?”
Glitter is now being used in fashion eyewear. Yes you heard it here first.
The new big thing in Fashion Eyewear is Glitter! They add it to the zyl mold when making zyl (plastic) frames.
I was shown some different frames and it really does look fantastic. Not gawdy like you would think. They put it in the temples of some frames and in the frame fronts on others.
Very different. I didn’t find any that I particularly liked, but I did like the frames on a whole and got some for the store.
Rhinestones are on the way out in eyewear and glitter is the new thing! ![]()

I have an appointment to get my hair cut Friday. WOO HOO!!!!
I have not had my hair done since December. I am thinking it was the first couple of days in December. Had it cut really short and flippy. So cute! But the style grows out too fast.
So… I have been growing it out. I now seem to have enough hair to get it cut in a short bob. That is definitely my signature hairstyle.
It’s funny…. bob hairstyles are in again in a BIG way… it is going to look like I am copying…but no I will have that cut long after it is gone our of style. Because as I said it is my signature style. And not the boring old blunt blob of older women. The funky 1920s flapper style bob.
I can’t wait till Friday!

Since I blogged. ![]()
Nothing too eventful going on. Just enjoying the weekends off. Been looking into creating some new jewelry pieces. Different styling.
Taking Calvin out for much longer walks since it is so nice out.
I can’t believe that it is March already. This year is flying by!
