Mums

I bought a flower planter about a month ago and planted yellow mums and 2 fuschia aster.
I was thinking that the weather would be going down to the 80s. We are having a freak heat wave now. It has been in the 90s for the last couple weeks. I tried keeping them watered, but nothing has helped.
I am going to wait to the first week in October and buy some more mums and plant them. I am also going to get a second planter to hang off the the window and plant some pansies.
I hate that the plants have died. Luckily they are affordable!

i’m so terrible with plants, they always die.
rachel and i have some HUGE butterfly bushes planted on the side of the house (i need to take photos). i swear, the key to those plants is to neglect them! otherwise, they’d be dead, i feel certain.
