This is

Back in the swing of things

Finally got back into working out tonight. It has been a good 2 weeks since I have worked out. Well I think the week before last I may have one day. I am really going to try to do something 4 days a week. My problem is I get back into my old bad habits. I need to start new good habits.

Just have to take it a day at a time.

No weigh in

till I see the Physician Assistant for my physical.

I am going to make the date of my physical the countdown of my weight loss.

I have been getting too frustrated about the weight loss. I want to wait and see what my Physician Assistant has to say about my blood work first.

Of course I am going to still focus on working out and eating healthy. I can’t focus on the numbers right now. Not till I find out if my hormones have something to do with my weight not dropping.

While I was on the treadmill this morning

i watached a news piece called Diet Wars. Frontline is the news show. It is a couple years old but it was very interesting.

You can go to pbs.org and click the A-Z list of shows. Look under Frontline and it will give you a list of the shows that they have. There are some other interesting stories that I will be watching in the future.

Stayed

the same on the scale this week. Last week I wasn’t feeling very well and didn’t work out as much. Then Saturday and Sunday we ate out.
At least I did not gain anything.

Joe is going to pick up some groceries this afternoon. We are focusing on fish and veggies this week. Oh and also buying alot of veggies and fruit to snack on. This way we can open the fridge and just grab a healthy snack.

WAY TO GO JOE!!!

My sweetie Joe is doing very well on his weight loss quest. Last week he lost 5 pounds and this week he lost 5 pounds. Total 10 pounds!

I am very proud of him!

I get on the scale tomorrow. Last week I only lost a half of a pound. Hoping it is more this week. I have been exercising and eating healthy. Even if I don’t see that much of a loss I know that I have been doing things right. I bet one of these days I am going to drop a bunch at once.

I will see.

Joe rocks! Way to go on your 10, count em 10 pound loss!

Frustrated…

but also happy. I lost a half of a pound this week. I am a bit frustrated though, because I was working out and really watching what I ate. I thought that I would at least have lost a pound. A half a pound is better then a gain and that is what I have to keep telling myself.

I went through early menopause at 28 so that has to have something to do with it.
From going through menopause and having my heart problems you would think that I was 75 years old!
Hee hee! At least I can joke about it.

I am going to have a physical this month and talk to my Dr about going on hormone replacement. The physician assistant that I saw a month ago said that she is surprised no one put me on it before.
She said that I should have been put on estrogen replacement because of how young I was.

If I go on estrogen and drop weight quick…. well I will kick myself for not going on it sooner.

I am focusing on now. And what I need to do to be healthy today.

That is what is important and what I should be focusing on, not the past.

A day at a time.

Great weight loss tips…

Weight Loss Goals

My goal is to lose 1 to 2 pounds every week. Not to gain any weight. Maintaining is ok, no gaining.
If I keep gaining I would be over 200 pounds by next year.

I am also eating healthier. Changed for the better, but do allow myself favorite foods in moderation.

I like healthy foods anyway. With as much as I love healthy foods I should be a size 5!

Healthy… that is what I want to be…………
